Job Description
Provides technical and programme-management support for UN Women’s gender-based violence, conflict-related sexual violence and community-security portfolio in the Central African Republic. The role coordinates implementation, monitoring, partner reporting, budgets and resource mobilisation while strengthening links between peacebuilding, humanitarian action, gender equality and women’s leadership.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Contribute to peace, security, humanitarian-action and GBV programme strategies
- Coordinate implementation and operational planning across community-security and CRSV projects
- Develop annual workplans and budgets and monitor their execution
- Review partner financial and narrative reports and support issue resolution
- Track programme results and prepare monitoring, donor and UN Women reports
- Support resource-mobilisation strategies and maintain programme information
- Coordinate with government institutions, UN agencies, civil society and technical partners
- Support advocacy campaigns, training, workshops and knowledge products
Role Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in peacebuilding, humanitarian action, project management, economics, social sciences or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted instead of a postgraduate degree
- At least one year of progressively responsible experience in programme or project implementation, coordination, donor reporting and capacity building
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Knowledge of Sango
Desired Criteria
- Project or programme management certification
- Experience with international, humanitarian or United Nations organisations
- Experience in gender equality, women’s empowerment, GBV, women peace and security or climate resilience
- Experience in the Central African Republic or a fragile or humanitarian context
- Experience in peacebuilding, local governance or community security
- Experience facilitating community dialogues and training community actors
