Job Description
The Communications Associate supports UNFPA Cambodia's gender-based violence programme through digital communications, multilingual content and outreach. The assignment manages social media, translates and interprets Khmer GBV materials, documents stories and case studies, produces promotional content, monitors media trends and helps deliver ethical, survivor-sensitive communications for campaigns and partnerships.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance GBV social-media platforms with multimedia content
- Translate and interpret UNFPA Cambodia GBV products and events in Khmer
- Support GBV outreach, campaigns, missions and visibility activities
- Document success stories, human-interest stories and field case studies
- Produce and translate factsheets, leaflets, posters and brochures
- Monitor social-media trends, comments and traditional and digital media
- Develop GBV communication products including photography, videography and artwork
- Apply ethical communications standards that protect affected people's dignity and privacy
Role Requirements
- At least two years of related experience in media communication, journalism, advocacy, social development or gender-project support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and social-media platforms
- Knowledge of communication applications and IT office equipment
- English and Khmer
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of Canva, Piktochart or Photoshop
- Experience drafting minutes and written communications
- Translation or interpretation of development documents
