Communication Assistant

Supports FAO Tunisia’s communication and visibility work across digital platforms. The volunteer creates social-media and multimedia content, develops stories on programme results, monitors audience engagement, and helps organise events and communication materials. The assignment promotes accessible, audience-focused information on food security, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience and inclusive rural development.

• Develop and publish content for social-media and digital communication platforms
• Plan, schedule and manage daily social-media content
• Track social-media metrics and identify opportunities to improve outreach
• Draft success stories, news articles and beneficiary-focused communications
• Create graphics, photographs and short videos for campaigns and events
• Support event logistics, participant management, coverage and follow-up

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
• One month to one year of professional experience in digital communication, content creation, social media, public relations, journalism or marketing
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, email and internet

• Experience in the development sector
