AI in a Box fellow

UNDP Senegal seeks an AI in a Box Fellow to coordinate a pilot turning digitized judicial records into searchable data for the Ministry of Justice. The fellow will manage implementation and partner logistics, coordinate UNDP and technical teams, track milestones, document lessons, troubleshoot issues, represent Senegal in the community of practice, and support digital-innovation partnerships.

• Lead day-to-day coordination of the AI in a Box pilot
• Coordinate government partners, UNDP Senegal and the technical team
• Track milestones and maintain implementation reporting
• Document operational lessons and context-specific adaptations
• Represent the Senegal anchor experience in the community of practice
• Support capacity building and development-cooperation partnerships

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a listed relevant field, or qualifying digital project-coordination, innovation or development-cooperation experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Familiarity with data systems, digital document management or AI tools
• Fluency in French and English
• Based in Dakar or its nearby region for the assignment

• Experience with Senegal’s public sector, especially the judiciary
• Software engineering or application-development experience
• Knowledge of programming concepts, Linux and Docker
• Knowledge of Wolof
