Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage and route official correspondence to the Rector
- Coordinate the Rector’s schedule and priorities
- Manage travel, visas, logistics and expense-report processing
- Support external relations and high-level visit protocol
- Support Office of the Rector human-resources matters
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in public administration, management, social sciences or related areas, or Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Bachelor’s degree holders require at least two years of progressively responsible international administrative-process experience
- Fluency in English and Japanese
- Experience with UN high-level correspondence protocols and systems
Desired Criteria
- Prior executive-office experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with the UN system is an asset
- Knowledge of another UN official language is an asset
