Adjunct Professor/Researcher on the Resource Nexus

Joins a UNU-FLORES roster of academics and experts who may support research, education, capacity development and outreach on the Resource Nexus. Assignments may involve research publications, policy analysis, partnerships and institutional activities.

• Contribute to research activities and innovation in the Resource Nexus with junior and senior researchers
• Support activities related to budget funding and fundraising
• Publish research outcomes in peer-reviewed journal articles, books and policy briefs
• Provide policy analysis and advice on capacity development and governance for integrated resource management
• Contribute to lecture series, institutional meetings and other UNU-FLORES activities
• Strengthen research capabilities, partnerships, visibility and impact of UNU-FLORES

• PhD related to the integrated management of environmental resources
• Minimum 5 years of post-PhD research experience
• Track record of research publications in areas related to integrated resources management
• Proficiency in oral and written English

• Knowledge of German would be highly beneficial
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Ability to establish priorities and work within prescribed timeframes
• Ability to work in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment

• Academic Affiliation Agreements may initially be up to 12 months and are unpaid
• Consultant contracts may initially be up to 12 months and are remunerated by deliverables
