Job Description
Leads complex administrative and operational support for peace and security client entities through the UN One Executive Office in New York. The role advises senior management on finance, budget, human resources and policy; manages client-desk services and staff; oversees compliance, reporting, audits and performance data; and advances efficient, integrated administrative services under the UN80 reform initiative.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise senior management on administrative, financial and human-resources policies
- Develop and implement the Client Desk administrative framework
- Coordinate staff administration and human-resources records
- Ensure recruitment, mobility and separation actions comply with Umoja and Inspira procedures
- Monitor expenditures and advise on budget-resource allocation
- Develop financial management policies, procedures and controls
- Manage administrative staff, KPIs and performance reports
- Oversee audits, delegation of authority and cross-cutting administrative matters
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business or public administration, human resources, finance, accounting, law or a related area, or a first-level degree plus two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in administration, budget, finance, human resources management or a related field
- Experience applying human-resources rules and policies in the United Nations or a comparable international organisation
- Experience preparing analytical reports from large complex Enterprise Resource Planning datasets including Umoja and Inspira
- Experience leading process simplification, automation or digitisation of administrative services including dashboards
- Experience drafting responses to legislative and oversight bodies in an international organisation
- English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
Desired Criteria
- Completion of degree or non-degree programmes in data analytics, business analytics or data science
- Experience in financial management in the United Nations or a comparable international organisation
- Experience managing conduct and discipline matters in the United Nations or a comparable international organisation
- Knowledge of French
