WBG Young Professional

The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program offers a Tourism role supporting the Tourism Solutions and Impact Unit. The professional develops knowledge and diagnostic tools, analyses aviation and tourism data, supports capacity platforms and a global conference, and applies digital innovation and sustainable-investment principles to strengthen tourism development and job creation.

• Support the establishment and operationalisation of the WBG Tourism Knowledge Hub
• Develop and refine tourism jobs methodology and calculation tools for projects
• Support aviation-data systems and integration into tourism diagnostics and project design
• Coordinate rollout and refinement of the Tourism Diagnostic Tool with country teams
• Support sustainable tourism investment tools, learning platforms and international conference delivery

• Master's degree in a stated field
• 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Fluency in English

• International-development or multilateral-institution experience is an advantage
• Tourism economics or sustainability-framework familiarity is highly desirable
• Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
