Job Description

Supports IOM health programming in the Bangsamoro region by coordinating project data, monitoring, evaluation and learning. The associate builds reliable evidence systems, trains local partners, strengthens data quality and accountability mechanisms, and converts health information into reports and practical improvements that help migration-health activities meet IOM and donor standards.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Analyse project data using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Identify data sources and collection methods and validate trends, gaps and opportunities
  • Conduct quality assurance for knowledge products and IOM-policy compliance
  • Plan Data Quality Control and Continuous Quality Improvement activities
  • Maintain reliable project databases with timely access to data
  • Train staff and partners on MERLA methods, materials and tools
  • Analyse indicators and support results-based reporting to IOM and donors
  • Support project evaluation and accountability-to-affected-populations mechanisms

Role Requirements

  • University degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, analytics, engineering, data science, social sciences or a health statistics-related discipline with four years of relevant experience
  • High school degree with six years of relevant professional experience
  • Fluency in English and Filipino

Desired Criteria

  • Relevant certification or training in health information, monitoring and evaluation, research methodologies or data analysis
  • Experience with health scorecard and governance outcomes
  • Experience developing M&E frameworks and feedback systems
  • Knowledge of BARMM and Mindanao health-system issues
