Job Description
The Technical Officer supports WHO Ukraine’s work with authorities, EU institutions and partners on health integration. The role coordinates assistance and donors, tracks governance developments, prepares policy inputs and briefings, and supports health-governance reforms. Ukrainian nationals need a relevant bachelor’s degree, two years’ coordinating experience, and expert English and Ukrainian.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate engagement with authorities and partners on EU integration
- Align technical assistance and donor engagement with national priorities
- Coordinate WHO engagement with health-sector EU integration stakeholders
- Track health-governance developments and EU accession requirements
- Prepare briefing packages for high-level meetings and missions
- Support development and monitoring of health-governance policies
- Prepare technical and policy inputs and progress reports
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health, political sciences, public administration, legal affairs or a related field
- At least two years coordinating activities with partners, stakeholders and donors in public health, health systems or international development
- Expert knowledge of English and Ukrainian
- National of Ukraine
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with WHO, the United Nations or international organisations
- Familiarity with EU accession or EU-funded health programming
- Intermediate knowledge of another United Nations language
