Job Description
Leads technical delivery and coordination of the ATCMA COMESA regional integration programme in Lusaka. The part-time consultant will align activities, work with governments, COMESA and the EU, guide trade-policy and market-access reforms, convene technical forums, and turn research and programme data into practical recommendations, reporting and capacity-building support.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and evaluate the ATCMA COMESA programme
- Coordinate sequencing of activities across programme outputs
- Liaise with governments, COMESA, the EU and national focal points
- Coordinate trade-policy and trade-facilitation reforms
- Plan and facilitate workshops and consultative sessions
- Prepare analyses, reports, studies and background papers
- Provide technical support for regional steering and technical committee meetings
- Lead field missions and technical outreach and training
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business administration, management, economics, development, international relations, international trade, international trade law or a related field; a first-level degree with qualifying experience may substitute
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible technical advisory, project or programme management or administration experience
- Fluency in English and French
- Authorization to work in the duty station
Desired Criteria
- Experience with regional trade programmes in COMESA
- Experience with EU-funded programmes
- Knowledge of EU financial management rules
