Job Description
The Project Coordination Associate supports International Trade Centre projects in Basra and neighbouring southern Iraqi governorates. The national NPSA-6 role coordinates local stakeholders, monitors field progress and risks, supports beneficiary assessments and training, collects project data, facilitates meetings and missions, and ensures compliance with ITC procedures and security measures.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support project implementation in Basra and neighbouring southern Iraqi governorates
- Maintain relationships with implementing partners, government, private-sector, civil-society and beneficiary stakeholders
- Organize meetings with local authorities and support workshops, training sessions and networking events
- Conduct field visits to monitor progress, identify challenges and support beneficiaries
- Collect and analyse project, beneficiary and stakeholder data and administer surveys and interviews
- Provide logistical support for ITC and partner missions and support compliance with security measures and procedures
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related experience; reduced to five years with a first-level university degree or higher
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Open to locally residing Iraqi nationals
- Applicants must be authorized to work at the duty station
Desired Criteria
- Training or certification in agriculture, agri-food or a related field
- Experience with government, private-sector, NGO and civil-society partners
- Agriculture or agri-food experience
- Stakeholder-engagement and workshop-organizing experience
- Knowledge of the local area and UN system procedures

Additional Information
- Contract administered on behalf of ITC by UNDP; selected candidates relocating from outside the duty station bear relocation expenses.
