Supports country-office procurement and supply chain delivery by managing requisitions, tender documents, supplier engagement, purchasing records, asset and fleet-related tasks, and coordination with finance and internal teams to secure timely goods and services.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Consolidate procurement requisitions and verify compliance with approval requirements
  • Prepare tender documents, solicit bids and produce bid-analysis summaries
  • Prepare purchase documentation and coordinate approvals with selected suppliers
  • Monitor requisitions and coordinate delivery notes with receiving units
  • Review vendor invoices and coordinate supplier payments with Finance
  • Maintain procurement-cycle records and support periodic reporting
  • Evaluate suppliers through market surveys and track contractual renewals
  • Support asset, warehousing, transport, fleet and facility-management tasks

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with two years of experience, or high school diploma with four years
  • Experience in procurement and logistics with vendors and service providers
  • Experience with asset management processes
  • Fluency in Spanish and English

Desired Criteria

  • Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures
  • Experience in an international organisation
