Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities, bid evaluations, purchase orders and supplier payments
- Support higher-value purchases and develop procurement plans
- Negotiate purchasing terms and resolve delivery issues
- Guide requisitioners on specifications, procedures and risk mitigation
- Track contracts, agreements and procurement-plan delivery
- Coordinate assets, warehousing, transport, fleet, facilities and supply-chain partnerships
Role Requirements
- University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with six years
- Experience in procurement and logistics, including work with service providers and vendors
- Experience with asset-management processes
- Fluency in Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Certification in procurement, logistics or supply chain management
- Experience applying IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures
- Experience working in an international organisation in a multicultural setting
