Senior Supply Chain Associate (Procurement)

Manages procurement and supply-chain support for IOM's Caracas office, coordinating tenders, suppliers, contracts, assets, logistics, fleet and facilities while strengthening compliance, reporting and staff capacity to deliver timely goods and services.

• Coordinate procurement activities, bid evaluations, purchase orders and supplier payments
• Support higher-value purchases and develop procurement plans
• Negotiate purchasing terms and resolve delivery issues
• Guide requisitioners on specifications, procedures and risk mitigation
• Track contracts, agreements and procurement-plan delivery
• Coordinate assets, warehousing, transport, fleet, facilities and supply-chain partnerships

• University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with six years
• Experience in procurement and logistics, including work with service providers and vendors
• Experience with asset-management processes
• Fluency in Spanish

• Certification in procurement, logistics or supply chain management
• Experience applying IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures
• Experience working in an international organisation in a multicultural setting
