Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage supply chains for country-office and emergency operations
- Lead the Supply Section
- Deliver supply-chain services and emergency response
- Collaborate with programmes and implementing partners
- Provide technical advisory support to government and national systems
- Drive innovation products and markets
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business administration management economics supply chain management logistics procurement contract or commercial law international development health or related social science or relevant bachelor degree with valid professional certification
- At least eight years of relevant national and international supply logistics procurement contracting administration or related technical experience
- Understanding of development and humanitarian work
- Fluency in English or French
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
- Government systems strengthening partnership coordination risk-management or negotiation skills
- Country-level development fragile-setting or humanitarian-context experience
- Emergency or health-supply-chain-management experience
