Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual interviews with beneficiaries and partners in Gaza and the West Bank in Arabic and or English
- Develop human-interest stories, profiles and other storytelling content
- Draft and edit communications materials in Arabic and English
- Identify strong story angles, key messages and quotes from interviews and programme information
- Turn interviews and programme information into engaging website and social-media content
- Adapt stories into website stories, social-media posts, captions, quote cards and short video scripts
- Support copywriting, editing and proofreading of communications materials
- Contribute to communications and advocacy campaigns
Role Requirements
- Background or studies in communications, journalism, media, languages, digital communications or a related field
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills in Arabic and English
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and coordinate remotely with team members
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or other basic design and video-editing tools
