Summary of Responsibilities

  • Direct an integrated talent-management strategy aligned with UN Women’s workforce priorities
  • Institutionalise talent analytics and strategic workforce-planning capabilities
  • Shape workforce strategies for staffing models, talent deployment and development
  • Transform performance management towards continuous skills growth and multi-source feedback
  • Oversee coaching, mentoring, career advisory and developmental-assignment programmes
  • Set learning and professional-development priorities and oversee funding allocation
  • Establish a shared leadership model, leadership programmes and succession-planning framework
  • Lead three HR specialists and one administrative staff member with delegated authority

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, public administration, organizational development or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of experience
  • At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in human resources or workforce management
  • Experience in talent management and organisational-development or change interventions
  • Experience leading and managing personnel in international settings
  • Experience using computers, office software, spreadsheets, databases and analytical software
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Professional certification in HR Management, Talent Management or Talent Analytics
  • Experience enhancing performance-management systems
  • Experience in workforce planning
  • Experience using a modern web-based ERP system, preferably Oracle Cloud
