Sustainable Finance Programme Content Development and Substantive Communications Consultant

Develops communications strategy, narratives and content for UN Women’s Sustainable Finance Programme, translating complex gender-responsive finance concepts into accessible materials. The home-based consultant produces written, visual and multimedia assets, supports regional and country offices, documents results and learning, and advises on stakeholder engagement, programme positioning and thought-leadership opportunities.

• Develop the programme communications strategy and content framework
• Create narratives, key messages, guidance and templates
• Produce briefs, presentations, reports, case studies and digital assets
• Translate sustainable-finance concepts for diverse audiences
• Support regional and country-office storytelling and results documentation
• Advise on programme positioning, engagement and thought leadership

• Master's degree, or first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least seven years of progressive experience in strategic communication, content and media product development, editing, marketing, branding or knowledge management
• Experience designing and implementing communication strategies and plans
• Fluency in English

• Experience with private-sector organisations, financial institutions, investors or development finance institutions
• Knowledge of another UN official language
