Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement human-resources policies, practices and procedures
  • Monitor implementation of learning and career-satisfaction policies
  • Plan, manage and supervise the Organizational Development Section leadership team
  • Assess leadership and management development needs and design targeted programmes
  • Implement the Senior Leadership Support Programme with internal and external partners
  • Advise senior leaders on leadership development, team effectiveness and management practice
  • Promote learning-needs analysis and evaluation frameworks across the Secretariat
  • Evaluate programme impact and coordinate inter-agency learning initiatives

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in education, learning development, human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences or a related field, or a bachelor degree in those fields with two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administration or a related area
  • Experience designing learning programmes using online, social, face-to-face and blended methodologies
  • English at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
