Leads UNFPA operations in Sudan across finance, human resources, procurement, ICT, administration, logistics, common services and security. The manager sets strategy and targets, supervises staff, assures compliance and service quality, advises the Representative and coordinates inter-agency operational partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and management targets for country-office operations
- Lead financial systems, budgets, controls and exception monitoring
- Oversee recruitment, performance, careers, diversity and operations personnel
- Manage procurement, project support, travel, logistics and premises
- Monitor outsourced and common-service quality and cost effectiveness
- Build operations-team capacity through coaching and learning
- Coordinate security compliance and represent UNFPA in security management
- Represent UNFPA in inter-agency operations and common-service forums
- Re-engineer business processes and introduce efficient systems
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in public administration, business administration, economics, management or a related field
- At least seven years of development experience in a governmental, multilateral or civil-society organisation
- At least three years of team-management experience in a complex organisation
- Field experience
