International Operations Manager

Lead UNFPA Uganda operations across finance, procurement, logistics, ICT, human resources, common services and security, setting strategic targets, strengthening controls and systems, managing staff, advising country leadership and ensuring cost-effective programme delivery.

Department: Uganda Country Office

• Set strategic direction and management targets for country operations
• Ensure transparent and compliant financial and administrative delivery
• Lead procurement, logistics, ICT and common services
• Manage operations staff and strengthen performance and capacity
• Oversee human resources administration and ERP transactions
• Represent UNFPA in security and inter-agency operations forums

• Postgraduate degree in public administration, business administration, economics, management or related field
• At least seven years of development experience including three years managing teams
• Field experience in a governmental, multilateral or civil-society organization
• Knowledge of procurement, finance, human resources, assets and ICT
• Fluency in English
