Overview
Provides administrative, procurement, financial and logistical support to UNFPA’s human-identification programme. The assistant manages consultant contracts and payments, organises purchases, travel and events, maintains inventories and records, and supports audits and financial reconciliations through corporate systems.

Responsibilities
- Draft terms of reference and manage documentation for individual consultant contracts
- Track consultant deliverables, reports and payments
- Support procurement from specifications and market research through award and purchase orders
- Manage asset donation, custody, inspection and inventory documentation
- Create financial requisitions in Quantum
- Organise meetings, events, accommodation, catering and venue services
- Arrange field travel, security clearance, allowances and expense settlement
- Support spot checks, audits and implementation of audit recommendations
Requirements
- Completed basic education
- At least three years of administrative and financial project-support experience
- Experience preparing expense reports and financial reconciliations
- Experience organising national events, travel, accommodation and services
- Knowledge of international-organisation travel systems and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, budget applications, ERP systems and Google Workspace
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish
- Advanced English
- Mexican citizenship or valid immigration and work permission
