Job Description
Operates and supports the Training and Exercise Section’s Functional Area Services at NATO Headquarters Allied Land Command. The role administers users and accounts, operates the Joint Exercise Management Module, trains personnel and directly advises users, helping the G7 Division plan, conduct and evaluate collective training and military exercises for NATO forces.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Operate the G7 Functional Area Services, particularly the Joint Exercise Management Module
- Administer Functional Area Services accounts and users
- Enter information and operate the Joint Exercise Management Module
- Train personnel on Functional Area Services principles, workflows and operation
- Advise users of G7 Functional Area Services on request
- Coordinate and monitor formal individual training of G7 personnel on the Joint Exercise Management Module
- Assist with exercise scripting and creation of Main Event and Main Incident Lists
Role Requirements
- Higher secondary education and intermediate vocational training with two years of experience, or secondary education and advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification with four years of related experience
- English SLP 3322 in listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Nationality of a NATO member country
- Age over 21 and under 60 at appointment, subject to stated definite-duration exceptions
- Appointment subject to obtaining NATO Secret security clearance and a medical certificate
- Ability to travel regularly on temporary duty and deploy to a combat environment

Additional Information
- The employee may deploy for up to six months in any eighteen-month period
