Special Assistant to the Country Director - CST I

WFP seeks an international consultant in Cairo to provide strategic and executive support to the Country Director. The consultant will prepare briefings and reports, synthesize information for decisions, coordinate leadership meetings and donor engagements, track actions, support reporting, facilitate cross-functional inputs, document findings, and strengthen knowledge management.

• Prepare strategic briefings, talking points, analytical notes and presentations
• Synthesize cross-unit information for senior decision-making
• Coordinate leadership meetings, donor engagements and missions
• Draft meeting summaries, decision notes and action trackers
• Support Country Strategic Plan, annual and donor reporting
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination and organizational messaging
• Document findings and lessons from missions and consultations
• Strengthen knowledge management and internal communication

• Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, public policy, economics, development studies, business administration, international development or a relevant field
• At least three years of progressively responsible professional experience in strategic planning, programme management, development cooperation, humanitarian operations, policy analysis, partnerships, executive support or related fields
• Professional working proficiency in English

• Experience with international organizations, UN agencies, governments, development partners or NGOs
• Arabic knowledge is desirable
