Job Description

Supports WFP's Wellness unit in Bangkok by monitoring clearance and sick-leave workflows across country offices. The assistant maintains confidential records and tracking tools, identifies process risks and delays, coordinates with HR and medical colleagues, supports medical travel and referrals, and produces reports and dashboards that improve medico-administrative operations and duty-of-care.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Monitor medical-clearance workflows, case status and submission completeness across country offices
  • Support sick-leave processes and identify trends, prolonged absences and high-risk cases
  • Perform quality checks on medico-administrative documentation and protect confidentiality
  • Develop trackers, checklists and dashboards that strengthen country-office workflows
  • Coordinate with HR, Medical Unit and stakeholders to resolve medico-administrative issues
  • Support onboarding, medical travel, referrals and MEDEVAC coordination
  • Maintain data systems and prepare reports on trends, risks and recommended actions

Role Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school education
  • At least three years of experience in administrative support, operations or healthcare programme-support roles
  • Experience in workflow tracking, data management or process coordination across multiple duty stations
  • Fluency in English
  • Thai nationality

Desired Criteria

  • Post-secondary certificate in administration, business, healthcare or a related field
  • University degree
  • UN, NGO or field-based experience
  • Familiarity with Workday and Medgate
  • Knowledge of spoken Thai
