Job Description
Supports UNICEF’s child-protection programme in Togo’s Savanes region, based in Dapaong. The national UN Volunteer will coordinate prevention and response services for children at risk, strengthen local systems and partners, monitor implementation and data quality, support emergency preparedness, and document results and recommendations from regular field missions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor child-protection activities with public services, local authorities, civil-society organisations, partners and communities
- Collect, analyse, disaggregate and use child-protection data for decision-making, programming and emergency response
- Strengthen prevention, detection, referral and case-management services for children at risk or affected by rights violations
- Support community protection mechanisms, alert and referral systems and initiatives that promote positive social norms
- Build the capacity of social workers, competent security and justice actors, partners and community structures
- Monitor performance indicators, field visits, data quality and technical reporting
- Support preparedness and response to emergencies affecting children
Role Requirements
- Meet the requirements for a national UN Volunteer assignment in Togo
- Proficiency in French
