Job Description
Provides protection-focused social-work support to migrants and refugees in the assigned IOM location. The role monitors service providers, conducts vulnerability assessments, refers people with protection needs to specialist services, manages and follows up individual cases, maintains case records and databases, maps available services, and works with medical and psychosocial teams to address risks and gaps in care.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor service-provider delivery and compliance with contractual obligations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and refer migrants and refugees to specialised protection services
- Address needs of women, children and older people at risk
- Follow up protection cases and ensure quality case management
- Maintain current case files and project-database records
- Map on-site and off-site services and facilitate beneficiary access
- Develop individual action plans and contribute to team reviews of protection risks and gaps
Role Requirements
- University degree in Social Work with at least two years of relevant experience
- Licence to practise social work
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Greek
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Membership with the Association of Greek Social Workers
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience providing direct assistance to migrants or refugees
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
