Social Worker

Provides case-management and protection support to migrants and refugees in Vagiochori, coordinating service provision, vulnerability assessments and specialist referrals with medical and psychosocial teams. The social worker monitors providers, develops individual action plans, keeps case records and project data current, maps available services and helps beneficiaries access health and protection support.

• Monitor service providers and beneficiary coverage against contractual obligations
• Coordinate daily activities with medical and psychosocial teams
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and arrange specialised protection referrals
• Develop individual action plans and follow up protection cases
• Maintain current case files and update the project database
• Map available services and support beneficiaries’ access to them
• Escort beneficiaries to public health facilities when requested

• University degree in Social Work with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
• Licence to practise social work
• Fluency in English and Greek

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Membership with the Association of Greek Social Workers
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience assisting migrants or refugees
