Job Description
Supports UNICEF's social-protection programme and reforms under the EU–UN Joint Programme. The UN Volunteer helps government counterparts implement strategy roadmaps, evidence and capacity-building work, cash-transfer pilots, programme events and operational follow-up, while coordinating with ministries, UN agencies and development partners to improve services for vulnerable children and families.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support implementation and monitoring of federal and Kurdistan social-protection roadmaps
- Coordinate assessments and evidence generation for policy reforms
- Support capacity-building activities and training documentation
- Assist expansion and monitoring of cash-transfer pilot activities
- Coordinate workshops, consultations and high-level events
- Follow up procurement, contracting and logistical requests with operations teams
Role Requirements
- Professional experience in social protection, social policy, programme management, public-sector reform, public administration or related fields
- English and Arabic are required
- National UN Volunteer assignment
