Summary of Responsibilities

  • Design and implement organisational data-governance frameworks and policies
  • Establish governance roles, committees and accountability structures
  • Develop data-classification and sensitivity-labelling standards
  • Support privacy-impact assessments and data-breach protocols
  • Define and monitor data-quality metrics and validation checks
  • Oversee data asset inventory, documentation and cataloguing
  • Configure governance settings and workflows in Microsoft platforms

Role Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies or standards
  • Experience working in complex data environments or regulated sectors
  • Experience managing diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent spoken and written English
