Job Description

Develop and refine data tools and analytics for the WHO Viet Nam Country Office Results Framework, support biannual results reporting and health-project impact products, and build staff capacity in monitoring, evaluation, data quality and inclusive analytics.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop a practical data-reporting tool for the country office Results Framework
  • Document data collection and reporting processes and prepare user guidance
  • Train WHO staff to use, maintain and lightly revise the reporting tool
  • Validate technical-team inputs and prepare year-end and mid-year results reports
  • Develop progress visualisations, impact stories and presentation materials
  • Support data collection and analytics for priority WHO and ministry projects
  • Build capacity in disaggregated data collection and inclusive analytics
  • Coordinate reporting inputs with technical teams and health-ministry counterparts

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in information management, public health, epidemiology, economics, data science or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience, including preparation of epidemiological updates, analytical briefs, dashboards, public-health profiles, results frameworks or health-information products
  • Knowledge of epidemiological surveillance, health-information management and medical-care standards
  • Ability to clean, validate, triangulate, analyse and communicate public-health data
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel, R or similar tools, Power BI and GIS software
  • Proficiency applying generative AI tools to knowledge management and data analytics
  • Expert English and good Vietnamese

Desired Criteria

  • Certification in results-based management or project management
  • Experience with WHO or another international agency in data analytics, results frameworks, monitoring or evaluation
  • Experience obtained in an international context
