Job Description
UNICEF Cameroon seeks twelve Social and Behaviour Change interns for six-month, full-time assignments across six offices. Interns will strengthen community engagement through family circles, feedback mechanisms, birth registration and child-marriage prevention; collect activity data; contribute to progress reporting; and prepare final reports on fieldwork results, challenges and recommendations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support family circles in child-friendly municipalities
- Promote community participation and document feedback from children and communities
- Support birth registration outreach through the Mon Baptême, Mon Nom initiative
- Support community engagement to prevent child marriage
- Collect and compile activity data, achievements and lessons learned
- Prepare final internship reports with results, challenges and recommendations
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in a degree programme or recent university graduation in a listed field
- Fluency in English or French
- Proof of medical insurance covering the full internship duration
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of Fulfulde or Cameroon Pidgin English
- Interest in community engagement, behaviour change or fieldwork
