Job Description

The Safe Migration Hotline Coordinator manages IOM’s Dushanbe hotline with the Migration Service, providing migrants with consultations and referrals. The consultancy supervises services, develops hotline strategy and protocols, trains operators, maintains outreach channels, analyses consultation trends and submits reports to strengthen safe, informed migration decisions in Tajikistan.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide migration consultations through hotline platforms
  • Oversee daily hotline operations and update the resource platform
  • Monitor consultation quality and applicant registration in KOBO
  • Develop hotline strategy and protocols with the Migration Service
  • Train hotline consultants and operators on migration information
  • Analyse trends and submit weekly and monthly reports

Role Requirements

  • Higher education in law or a relevant field
  • At least seven years of experience in hotline consultations or safe-migration information activities
  • Knowledge of migration legislation and policies affecting Tajik migrants
  • Proficiency in Russian and Tajik

Desired Criteria

  • Work experience in international organizations is an advantage
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
