Job Description
ITU is building a home-based consultant roster for circular-economy and e-waste projects across Asia and the Pacific. Consultants will lead policy workshops, draft e-waste and extended-producer-responsibility frameworks, conduct cost analyses and develop implementation guidance and online learning content.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Organize and lead workshops to draft, review and validate e-waste/EPR/circular economy policies
- Lead briefing sessions with senior government stakeholders on regulatory updates
- Develop and finalize draft regulatory documents
- Conduct cost studies on e-waste management
- Prepare technical content for ITU Academy online learning
- Support onboarding and steering meetings for project teams
- Prepare mission reports for related travel
Role Requirements
- University degree in environmental science or related field such as environmental engineering
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the environmental field including e-waste management, with at least 3 years at international level
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree an advantage
- Technical background in e-waste, circular economy, environmental law or climate change an advantage
- Knowledge of local languages an advantage depending on assignment location
