Roster - Circular Economy Consultant - Asia Region

ITU is building a home-based consultant roster for circular-economy and e-waste projects across Asia and the Pacific. Consultants will lead policy workshops, draft e-waste and extended-producer-responsibility frameworks, conduct cost analyses and develop implementation guidance and online learning content.

• Organize and lead workshops to draft, review and validate e-waste/EPR/circular economy policies
• Lead briefing sessions with senior government stakeholders on regulatory updates
• Develop and finalize draft regulatory documents
• Conduct cost studies on e-waste management
• Prepare technical content for ITU Academy online learning
• Support onboarding and steering meetings for project teams
• Prepare mission reports for related travel

• University degree in environmental science or related field such as environmental engineering
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the environmental field including e-waste management, with at least 3 years at international level

• Master's degree an advantage
• Technical background in e-waste, circular economy, environmental law or climate change an advantage
• Knowledge of local languages an advantage depending on assignment location

• Extended producer responsibility (EPR) frameworks
• Financial Analysis
• Workshop Facilitation

• Remuneration: USD 185-360 per working day depending on experience
