Join ITU’s remote Latin America circular-economy roster to deliver e-waste and environmental projects, conduct research and assessments, advise governments and stakeholders, develop policy and implementation tools, support capacity building and prepare technical outputs that advance sustainable digital transformation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Organize and lead workshops with stakeholders to draft, review and validate e-waste and EPR policies
- Lead meetings and briefings with senior government officials on regulatory updates and project progress
- Develop and finalize draft regulatory documents
- Conduct cost studies on e-waste management
- Prepare technical content for ITU Academy online learning
- Prepare mission reports and workshop summaries
Role Requirements
- University degree in environmental science or related field (e.g. environmental engineering)
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the environmental field such as e-waste management, including at least 3 at the international level
- Advanced English required
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree an advantage
- Knowledge of a second official Union language at intermediate level an advantage
