Job Description
UNESCO is building a Creative Services Roster of video editors and agencies for on-call remote post-production assignments supporting its South Asia communications work. Rostered providers will turn raw footage into platform-ready social-media and longer-form videos, applying brand standards, captions, sound and visual finishing while delivering editable source files for UNESCO’s archive.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage and project briefs into social-media and longer digital video content
- Assemble sequences to agreed scripts, storyboards, creative briefs and UNESCO direction
- Optimize reels, clips, teasers and interview videos for platform-specific duration, aspect ratio and format
- Apply colour correction, audio synchronization, sound mixing, subtitles, captions, lower-thirds and motion graphics
- Ensure output meets UNESCO Graphic Standards, Logo Toolkit, gender strategy and copyright requirements
- Submit MP4 edits for review, incorporate revisions and deliver publish-ready files with editable source masters
Role Requirements
- University degree or professional training in film production, video editing, broadcast media, digital communications or a related field, with a portfolio accepted in lieu of formal qualifications
- At least three years of demonstrable professional video-editing experience including social-media content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent video-editing software
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to submit a portfolio with at least three recent work samples
Desired Criteria
- Experience with institutional or development-sector communications
- Familiarity with UNESCO or UN branding standards
- Proficiency in local languages of the duty station
