Job Description
ITU seeks a remote intern to support circular-economy and climate-change activities for Asia and the Pacific. The internship contributes to e-waste regulation, greenhouse-gas data, green data centres and sustainable ICT procurement; supports research, databases, stakeholder meetings and workshops; and advances awareness, partnership building and resource mobilisation for green ICT initiatives.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support climate-change and circular-economy projects
- Assist e-waste regulation and greenhouse-gas data-collection activities
- Promote Asia-Pacific participation in ITU standardisation activities
- Organise meetings and workshops for awareness, partnerships and resource mobilisation
- Participate in stakeholder consultations on e-waste regulation
- Maintain databases on e-waste regulation and ICT-sector emissions
- Research green data centres, sustainable ICT procurement and green ICT standards
Role Requirements
- University degree or ongoing advanced university degree in global environmental governance, sustainable development, environmental studies or a related field
- Advanced English
- Under 30 years of age unless pursuing a PhD
- Current student or recent graduate within six months of internship start
- Citizenship of an ITU Member State
