Job Description
Leads development of an evidence-based UNICEF air-quality strategy for Pakistan, addressing household and ambient pollution risks affecting children. The consultancy combines policy analysis, research and multi-sectoral engagement to translate air-pollution evidence into practical recommendations that strengthen programmes, advocacy and action across government and development partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop an air-quality strategy addressing ambient and household pollution risks for children in Pakistan
- Analyse air-pollution evidence and translate findings into policy and programmatic recommendations
- Provide technical input on air quality, environmental health and climate-related priorities
- Engage government and development partners on multi-sectoral air-quality action
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental health, public health, environmental science, climate change or a related field
- At least eight years of relevant professional experience in air quality, environmental health or closely related sectors
- Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, strategy development and multi-sectoral programmes
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu
- Open to Pakistani nationals only
Desired Criteria
- Experience in air-pollution issues in low- and middle-income countries, preferably South Asia or Pakistan
- Prior work with UN agencies, governments or development partners
