Job Description

Supports the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls in Bonn to build partnerships, mobilize resources and deliver advocacy around its 30th anniversary and Strategic Plan. The analyst researches donors, develops proposals and engagement materials, coordinates the Bonn Global Convening and manages agreements, reporting and partnership follow-up.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with Member State donors, private-sector partners and philanthropies
  • Prepare donor and partner profiles, engagement histories and partnership pipelines
  • Research donor strategies, funding trends and resource-mobilization opportunities
  • Draft proposals, concept notes, investment cases and donor-facing materials
  • Coordinate partner engagement and content for the Bonn Global Convening
  • Coordinate donor agreements, consultancies and related contracting workflows
  • Monitor obligations, reporting deadlines, deliverables and follow-up actions
  • Develop advocacy, partnership and resource-mobilization content for priority events

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field or first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in partnerships, donor relations, resource mobilization, advocacy, external relations or programme coordination
  • Experience preparing donor briefs, funding proposals, concept notes, investment cases, talking points or advocacy products
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet and database packages and web-based management systems

Desired Criteria

  • Experience engaging governments, diplomatic missions, private-sector partners, foundations or senior external stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating contracts, agreements, consultancies or vendor workflows
  • Experience supporting high-level convenings or multi-stakeholder events
  • Experience with the United Nations, gender equality, women’s rights or ending violence against women and girls
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud or another modern web-based ERP system
  • International experience
