Job Description
The UN Women Communications Analyst will plan and deliver Nepal Country Office communications and advocacy to raise awareness with partners, media and the public. The post develops campaigns and multimedia products, manages media relations and digital channels, supports donor visibility and outreach, builds communication partnerships, and supervises a Communications Associate while embedding.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan communication and outreach strategies and conduct communication needs assessments
- Develop communication products including press releases, stories, speeches, articles and multimedia content
- Coordinate campaigns, events and advocacy materials
- Manage press relations, media inquiries and briefing materials
- Build communication partnerships and donor visibility materials
- Manage website, digital platforms and social media accounts
- Provide communication training and capacity-building support
- Supervise the Communications Associate
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a relevant field
- At least five years of professional experience in public relations, communications or advocacy
- Experience using social media
- Experience using office software, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems
- Fluency in Nepali and English
Desired Criteria
- Media-relations experience is desirable
- Development communications, social-impact communications, gender-equality advocacy or UN-system experience is desirable
