Job Description
WHO seeks a communications assistant in Bangui to support public-health communication and health-promotion work. The consultant will produce and disseminate public information across print, web, broadcast and social media, strengthen WHO visibility and reputation, monitor public concerns, develop creative youth-facing content, and help deliver coherent digital communication for health campaigns.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Produce and disseminate high-quality public information on established and emerging public-health issues
- Support health communication and health-promotion functions for the WHO office in the Central African Republic
- Monitor public opinion and concerns and contribute to strategic responses
- Improve the visibility of health campaigns through creative youth-focused formats
- Maintain a coherent WHO presence on the web and social media
- Support field communication and decentralised-office activities during domestic travel
Role Requirements
- At least two years of higher education in communication, journalism, public health, public relations or an equivalent field
- At least five years of experience in communication, journalism or public relations
- Strong French writing ability
- Mastery of social media and graphic tools
Desired Criteria
- Experience in a national or international organisation or in public health
- Photography, video and basic editing skills
