Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Regional Bureau and bureau officers
- Prepare, verify and follow up correspondence and documentation for the bureau
- Ensure bureau requests are complete, comprehensive and presented clearly
- Implement administrative directives and suggest improvements to administrative procedures
- Liaise with National Central Bureaus, regional bureaus and external organisations for information and documentation
- Maintain local contacts with government departments for personnel procedures such as visas and resident permits
- Assist newly arrived personnel with installation, orientation and personnel documentation
Role Requirements
- At least two years of bilingual secretarial education from a university or equivalent training
- At least two years of experience in a secretarial post or equivalent experience beneficial to the position
- Professional fluency in English
- Solid computer knowledge with excellent command of Office Suite and Internet
Desired Criteria
- Trilingual secretarial qualification is an asset
- Similar experience in another national or international organisation would be beneficial
- High availability may be required for overtime or work outside normal hours
