Job Description
The Quality Assurance Associate monitors TVET institute performance in Syria for UNRWA. The role analyses data on teaching, learning, resources and inclusive practice, reports evidence-based findings, supports improvement plans and review-framework development, disseminates good practice and contributes to quality-assurance reporting and professional development across the Field.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor teaching, learning, resources and inclusive practice against institute quality-review standards
- Collect and analyse performance data and prepare regular quality-assurance reports
- Support action plans addressing institute-review weaknesses
- Develop the Institute Quality Review Framework for the Field
- Disseminate good practice and prepare evidence-supported quality reviews
Role Requirements
- University degree in economics, quality assurance or a related field
- At least two years of experience relevant to education systems and institute quality assurance or monitoring and evaluation
- English and Arabic are required
- Residence in Syria within commuting distance and authorisation to work at the duty station
Desired Criteria
- Advanced degree in institute quality assurance monitoring and evaluation
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance research, procedures and practices
