Job Description

UNOPS seeks a home-based Coordinator to establish Program Monitoring and Assurance services across Geneva's portfolio. The coordinator will design service models and controls, manage rosters and agreements, advise programmes on grant-risk mitigation, oversee assignment quality and delivery, strengthen capacity and knowledge management, and build donor confidence through independent monitoring.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy new monitoring and assurance services
  • Develop standard operating procedures and terms of reference
  • Maintain rosters of expert consultants and long-term agreements
  • Lead planning, coordination and quality control of assurance services
  • Monitor portfolio delivery against work orders and deliverables
  • Drive portfolio-wide adoption of lessons learned

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least five years in project, grant, financial or risk management
  • Experience coordinating programme monitoring and quality-assurance services
  • Experience directly managing experts

Desired Criteria

  • PRINCE2 or PMP certification
  • International procurement experience in health
  • CIPS or similar professional certification
