Job Description
Supports IUCN work on protected and conserved areas, spatial planning and community-based conservation in the Maldives. The officer will coordinate field activities and stakeholder consultations, organise ecological and socio-economic evidence, prepare technical reports and project documentation, and help partners translate marine and coastal conservation priorities into inclusive, practical management and planning actions.

Summary of Responsibilities

Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a listed relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in biodiversity conservation, protected-area management or marine and coastal management
- Fluency in English and Dhivehi
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-management tools
Desired Criteria
- Experience with socio-economic assessments or participatory processes
- Experience in donor-funded projects
- Familiarity with ecological, statistical or spatial software
