Responsibilities
- Guide sustainable land management, restoration and protected-area management
- Strengthen protected-area boundaries and community understanding
- Oversee IMET assessments, habitat mapping and ecological studies
- Implement fauna, flora, habitat and restoration monitoring protocols
- Support participatory governance, value chains and inclusive natural-resource management
- Plan activities and budgets and establish the monitoring and evaluation system
- Collect and analyse performance-indicator data
- Coordinate evaluations and implementation of recommendations
- Prepare technical, financial and European Union reports
- Document good practice, policy briefs and lessons for replication
Requirements
- Master’s degree in biodiversity or natural-resource management, conservation biology, forestry, agroecology, environmental or natural sciences or an equivalent field
- Five to seven years of experience in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration or protected-area management
- At least three years of planning, monitoring and evaluation or technical coordination experience in multi-stakeholder environmental projects
- Excellent French
- Office-software and GIS or environmental-database proficiency
