Summary of Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation and budget monitoring of the KfW-funded MHPSS project
  • Guide psychologists, social workers, educators and social-cohesion staff
  • Develop capacity-building plans and train programme staff and implementing partners
  • Liaise with provincial health authorities and other governmental and non-governmental counterparts
  • Lead awareness campaigns on psychosocial support, social cohesion and peacebuilding
  • Produce compliant financial, narrative and progress reports for IOM and the donor

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, psychiatry, social sciences, anthropology or a related field with five years of relevant experience
  • University degree in those fields with seven years of relevant experience
  • Experience in project development, management and reporting
  • Experience assessing MHPSS needs in complex emergency and post-conflict contexts
  • Experience coordinating community-based MHPSS through implementing partners
  • Fluency in English and French

Desired Criteria

  • Professional medical, psychological or counselling accreditation is an advantage
  • Clinical supervision experience is an asset
