Job Description
Strengthens mental-health and psychosocial support across UNFPA humanitarian programmes. The analyst builds partner capacity, develops evidence-based guidance, improves supervision and quality systems, coordinates referral pathways and integrates MHPSS into sexual-health, gender-violence and emergency responses.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assess MHPSS services, workforce capacity, referral pathways and programme gaps
- Design culturally appropriate MHPSS interventions across sexual-health and gender-violence programmes
- Develop technical guidance, procedures, field manuals, training packages and supervision tools
- Train and mentor government, partner, health, social-work and community responders
- Build quality-assurance, monitoring, feedback and continuous-improvement systems
- Align programmes with IASC, GBV case-management and Sphere standards
- Coordinate inter-agency MHPSS services, referral systems and humanitarian planning
- Document learning, prepare technical and donor reports and support resource mobilisation
Role Requirements
- Relevant qualification or equivalent in psychology, mental health or a related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible MHPSS experience, reduced to three years for master's degree holders
- Expertise in recognised MHPSS, GBV case-management and humanitarian standards
- Experience developing technical guidance, procedures, curricula and implementation tools
- Experience training, supervising and mentoring non-professional counselling staff

- Master's degree in psychology, mental health or a related field
- International GBV or MHPSS experience in a humanitarian context
- Experience with United Nations agencies, humanitarian clusters, NGOs or government emergency systems
- Knowledge of local dialects
