Job Description
Coordinates emergency sexual and reproductive health interventions for rapid UNFPA deployments in the Philippines, strengthening MISP delivery, partner capacity, commodity monitoring and integration of SRH, HIV and gender-based violence services into primary health care.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate national and sub-national sexual and reproductive health programming during emergencies
- Assess service needs and gaps and recommend improvements for conflict-affected populations
- Coordinate implementing partners and stakeholders through SRH working-group mechanisms
- Build the capacity of health providers through training and supportive supervision
- Collect and analyse SRH data and provide feedback to partners and the country office
- Monitor interventions, commodities and emergency supplies and prepare technical and situation reports
- Support proposal development and resource mobilisation for humanitarian health services
Role Requirements
- Relevant qualification in medical science, public health or a related discipline
- Five years of experience in humanitarian emergencies, public-health emergencies or conflict-affected settings, reduced to three years for master's degree holders
- Experience coordinating and implementing the Minimum Initial Service Package for sexual and reproductive health
- Experience coordinating SRH interventions with government, humanitarian, NGO or UN partners
- Excellent written and spoken English and Filipino
- Ability to deploy at short notice to emergency-affected areas and work in challenging field conditions
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in medical science, public health or a related discipline
- Additional humanitarian-response experience
- Knowledge of Philippine dialects relevant to the deployment location

- Volunteer assignment via UNV for 181 days
- Humanitarian Emergency Response Roster membership may last up to six months and does not guarantee recruitment
- May require rapid deployment to Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas or CARAGA
