Overview
UNFPA seeks a national consultant in Tripoli to provide technical leadership for reproductive-health programmes, strengthen RMNCAH services and emergency readiness, advise government and partners, assure implementation quality and turn programme evidence into policy, advocacy and learning products.

Responsibilities
- Strengthen implementing partners’ reproductive-health service delivery
- Develop capacity for emergency obstetric care and midwifery services
- Advise government on RMNCAH laws, policies and strategies
- Embed MISP and emergency obstetric care in preparedness plans
- Assure the technical quality of partner programme implementation
- Generate and disseminate evidence, policy briefs and lessons learned
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, health-systems management or a related health-science field
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience in public-health policy, planning and management focused on reproductive or maternal and child health
- Experience providing policy advice and technical assistance to government ministries
- In-depth understanding of Libya’s health sector
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English
